Conservatory Makeover – Week 2

Week 2 of project anti-conservatory has been in full swing but I had SUCH a busy weekend that I completely forgot to update you all! Fear not, here’s the progress report for last week.

So, if you caught up on week 1’s report you’ll know that we are in the process of turning our leaking conservatory into a much more user-friendly extension. See the blog post here.

With the roof off, we’ve had the fantastic brick layers at Elmwalk Developments round to build up the sides before the roof starts coming together (hopefully this week…). My parents used Mike & Steve when building their house & they’ve also just completed a huge extension on the back of my sisters house so I knew we were in great hands. I’m SO impressed so far.

We’ve also had the scaffolding erected ready for the roof.

The plan for the week ahead (week 3 which I’ll be updating you on Friday) is to hopefully have it watertight so I can finally take the tarpaulin down & let some natural light in!

Love, Charlotte x
